Description
This is the second of two paintings dedicated to the memory of those who lost their lives in the twin towers disaster. The lights shone in place of the towers to honour all who suffered. I will never forget that night when the lights pierced the skies over Manhattan. The atmosphere was charged with emotion but simultaneously it throbbed with hope and the determination of the human spirit to overcome evil.
I just had to paint the image that will be imprinted upon my memory forever.
